KLUANG: A man hopes of solving a dispute with his fiancé ended in a sour manner after he was ambushed by a group of men leaving him with injuries. Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Laham said the 26-year-old victim had met with his fiancé at a restaurant in Layang-Layang town area at around 4.30pm on Dec 15. “When the victim attempted to approach the woman, a group of at least 10 men showed up and immediately pushed him before hitting him. ACP Mohamad added that the victim had also shamed his fiancé by claiming the woman owe him money on a Facebook post. “We are tracking down the suspects involved in the attack,” he said adding that those with information should contact the state police hotline at 07-2212999.
