Councillor: Too much talk, not enough action on museum redevelopment

Invercargill City Councillor Peter Kett believes there has been too much talk and not enough action on the closed Invercargill museum. The city's museum continues to prompt passionate debate around the Invercargill City Council table three years after it was closed to the public because of earthquake safety concerns. The council adopted its 2021-2031 long-term plan at a council meeting on Wednesday. Clark felt the council had not listened to the public who wanted the museum redevelopment to be a top priority. Kavinda Herath/Stuff Invercargill Mayor Sir Tim Shadbolt chairs an Invercargill City Council meeting on Wednesday.
