Former Otago coach Cory Brown is joining his brother on the Sunwolves coaching staff. Brown has resigned from his job as high performance and skills coach at the Highlanders and will help coach the Sunwolves in next year's Super Rugby competition. But he has called it quits to head north and link with the Sunwolves coaching staff as an attack coach. His older brother Tony had been an assistant coach with the Highlanders in 2014-16 and then the head coach for the franchise in 2017. The side had four coaches at present: head coach Aaron Mauger, assistant coaches Mark Hammett and Glenn Delaney, and scrum coach Clark Dermody.
