Apprentice jockeys sealed a magnificent day out at Wingatui with bold frontrunning rides to win yesterday's last two races. The two victories gave apprentice riders a tally of seven wins from nine races on the Melbourne Cup day programme. For the second consecutive time at a Wingatui meeting, rider Zhubair Bholah used daring frontrunning tactics to win with Flicka Of Gold. Tyler said Bholah's work away from the races was as instrumental in Flicka Of Gold's win as his race ride. In the previous event, apprentice Rohan Mudhoo used frontrunning tactics to win with Majic El for trainer Claire Anderton.
