Sales of auto parts are going a lot better than those of fully assembled cars these days. That is despite the fact that Americans put very little wear and tear on their vehicles in the past couple of months. Passenger and personal vehicle miles traveled declined more than 40% in each of the five weeks starting March 21 compared with the baseline week of Feb. 22, according to transportation data firm INRIX.
