The lockdown and border closures resulting from Covid-19 are decimating tourism businesses. West Coast tourist operators are offering Kiwis cheap bookings as they try to stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic. Development West Coast (DWC) has asked Coasters to "book now, do later". Stewart Nimmo West Coast tourism operators, including the West Coast Treetop Walk near Hokitika, are hoping to attract more Kiwis with discounted vouchers.
