A vested quarter has reportedly been spreading rumours about educational institutions being shut down in the wake of coronavirus detection in BangladeshIn a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Education said that it had not taken any decision regarding shutting down schools, colleges and other educational institutions as a measure to stem the spread of coronavirus. Based on recommendations and advice from experts and public health officials, decisions will be made if and when necessary, the statement added. Actions will be based on specific circumstances and in the best interests of students, staff and parents.
