Coronavirus: Migrant community faces unique challenges under lockdown

Marlborough resident Fadia Muhssen, who came to New Zealand from Jordan in 2007, said newer migrants could be feeling particularly isolated during lockdown. Muhssen had been keeping in touch with members of Marlborough's migrant community that she knew may be struggling. CHLOE RANFORD/STUFF Fadia Muhssen said it was important to reach out to people in the migrant community that could be struggling during lockdown. "The idea was a bit worrying watching my home and the world situation, it was making me a little bit panicked."
