The Government is not expected to shift Auckland out of level 3 lockdown at its Cabinet “check-in” on Covid-19 alert levels today. When the Government extended the level 3 lockdown by an extra week-and-a-half last Friday, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern indicated it would “review” the alert levels on Friday morning. Testing results from around the country would also be key to assure health officials the infection had not spread past Auckland.
