As of Wednesday, all players and clubs were on standby and were waiting to hear from the board with a wide rumor that the tournament can start anytime soon. A good number of cricketers are staying at the BCB Academy dormitory and are spending anxious moments away from home. Apart from the board, the decision over future of the tournament is to come from Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM). As far as the clubs are concerned, they understand the sentiment of the players but cannot come to a decision of their own. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi club’s executive director Anwarul Iqbal also echoed the same sentiment and said they will accept any decision from the BCB.
