BigstockThe booth will remain open from 9am to 6pm every dayMembers of Bangladesh Army have set up a disinfectant-spraying booth in the district town of Jessore in an effort to curb the spread of coronavirus. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Shafiul Arif inaugurated the booth at Daratana in Jessore on Saturday afternoon, reports UNB. The booth will remain open from 9am to 6pm every day so that pedestrians and residents of nearby areas can get themselves disinfected and limit the transmission of the virus. Jessore Superintendent of Police Md Ashraf Hossain, Commanding officer of Jessore Cantonment Brigadier-37 Lt Col Niamul Halim Khan, and Additional Superintendent of Police Salauddin Sikder were present during the inauguration.
