KOTA KINABALU: Policemen used a taser on a man who was on the verge of stabbing his wife and baby in a house in Tuaran, some 50km from here. Tuaran police chief Deputy Supt Abd Fuad Abd Malik said the 33-year-old man had barged into his estranged wife’s house in Kg. “There was a fight between the husband and wife when suddenly the man grabbed their eight-month-old baby and pulled out a knife,” he said when contacted Tuesday. “The man, however, did not want to let the wife go and held her from behind while holding the knife to her neck,” DSP Fuad said. “The suspect was arrested and brought to the police station for questioning,” DSP Fuad said.
