KUALA LUMPUR: A police inspector, two corporals and a political secretary to a controversial politician were arrested today for allegedly robbing an insurance agent at a shop in Rawang. It is learnt that the 51-year-old victim was manning the premises on Nov 12 when three men entered, identifying themselves as police. As the victim went into his office to take his bag, the three men fled in an unmarked car. The 34-year-old political secretary was later nabbed in relation to the case. Selangor police Criminal Investigations Department chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Fadzil Ahmad said the case is being investigated under Section 395 of the Penal Code for gang robbery.
