A known Toronto child sex offender is facing new charges of exposing himself to a young girl. The indecent is alleged to have occurred at 81 St. Mary St. on the afternoon of Aug. 9. Police allege that Shorten approached the young girl and exposed himself to her. The girl left the area, and was followed allegedly by Shorten who exposed himself to her again. The following day Shorten was arrested by police; he is now scheduled to appear in court Sept. 1.
