Infrastructure Principal Secretary John Mosonik told the firms to speed up and finish the 80 kilometres of roads estimated to cost Sh3.5 billion. Mosonik, who was accompanied by road engineers from various counties, said they are also working to ensure sure that the Kitale-Lodwar-South Sudan road is completed on schedule. Areas that have already benefited in the ongoing roads projects include Elgeyo Marakwet, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu and now West Pokot counties.
