Soon Hoa Phat branched into office furniture and then into producing steel piping for such ware. To that and its pipes production, Hoa Phat is adding galvanized-steel lines. But one backer likes the entrepreneurial urge: "Don't consider Hoa Phat [founders] as industrialists. Tran was watching and vows Hoa Phat will spend what's needed to skirt environmental damage.
