Conspiracy theorist Billy Te Kahika, who has been charged with breaching the Covid-19 Public Health Response Act, will now be allowed partial to access the internet. Te Kahika was involved in an anti-lockdown protest outside TVNZ’s Television Centre building in central Auckland on August 18. On Tuesday, Borich QC appealed to the High Court at Auckland asking for the overall ban on the internet conditions to be lifted. Justice van Bohemen relaxed the internet conditions, but declined to lift the overall ban.
