The Sudanese government has accused the Kenyan government of siding with the paramilitary force in the conflict. The British Foreign Office said that the sanctioned firms include Al Junaid, a lucrative gold mining company, owned by the family of the paramilitary force commander Gen. Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo.
