Pointing out the failure of Panjab University Committee Against Sexual Harassment (PUCASH) committee in providing the inquiry report of sexual harassment complaint against vice-chancellor Arun Kumar Grover even after 89 days, the syndicate on Sunday said the committee should complete its inquiry within 15 days. Shelly Walia is the chairperson of this panel with DPS Randhawa, Emanuel Nahar, Ajay Ranga and Charanjit Kaur Sohi as other members. Recently, the UT administration had requested the vice-chancellor to direct the PUCASH to complete the inquiry in the sexual harassment complaint against him filed by the complainant within a ‘maximum period of 15 days’. New fellows to get allotmentsMeanwhile, PU syndicate has recommended faculty allotment to new PU Fellows, whose term started from November 1, 2016. As it was discussed in the syndicate, the new Fellows will be allotted faculties as per their qualifications.
