When someone broke into a car parked at Nelson's Tahunanui Beach and stole a backpack, they took much more than just a bag of things. Cadby Kong, a photographer and barber, said the bag wasn't just a backpack, "that backpack is my life". "I was here a year ago, doing my 100 haircuts, and I slept at the beach for months with no problem ... "It's always felt like, your life is all on you ... this has taught me about asking for help," Kong said. JOE LLOYD/STUFF With the return of his camera, Kong can still offer his 100 memories, which was part of the reason he came back to Nelson.
