A COMEDY legend was rushed to hospital for emergency eye surgery as he was forced to cancel a string of shows. Colin Mochrie, 68, pulled out of his scheduled shows following the health scare, which saw him receiving urgent treatment for a detached retina. It continued: “Colin has been diagnosed with a detached retina and will be undergoing emergency eye surgery today. And just days after his treatment, Colin shared an update with his fans on social media, revealing he’s slowly “moving in the right direction”. “But we didn’t have social media back then, so it wasn’t the large-scale conversation that it became later.”
