A collection agent accompanied by a gunman was shot at and robbed of Rs 11 lakh in Rohini's Vijay Vihar area late on Saturday in full public view. Cops also arrived on the spot, which is hardly half a kilometre away from the Vijay Vihar police station. The first incident took place when the collection agent identified as Dinesh Kumar, had reached near a school in Vijay Vihar, in a Maruti Eeco van with driver and a gunman. According to the witnesses, two men on a bike approached Kumar's vehicle and asked the three of them to get off. "The duo asked Kumar for the cash bag, to which he resisted and asked his driver to drive away.
