I still feel that way myself; it was pretty late Wednesday evening before I began to see the more grotesque and frightening aspects of this manoeuvre. Hell, I wouldn’t feel too safe in some parts of the country right now just having the surname Gladu. And if you decline to take the test, aren’t you openly inviting revolt beyond the ballot box? No possibility of backlash; no threat to national unity; no existential risk to the legitimacy of his otherwise hyper-popular regime.
