The Irish Coast Guard has appealed to the public to take heed of the two weather warnings issued by Met Eireann before entering waters. The coast guard again warned of the dangers of using inflatable toys on the sea or inland waterways. Meanwhile, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) has asked road users to exercise caution while using the roads over the next few days. The road safety watchdog has advised road users said in areas affected by the Orange Warning to check local traffic and weather conditions before setting out on a journey. Road users should always follow recommended routes and obey signs closing roads to traffic.
