The benchmark BSE Sensex fell 561.22 points to close at 34,195.94 points while Nifty ended at 168.30 points to close below 10,498.25 mark. Lupin and Tata Motors were biggest losers among Nifty 50 stocks, falling more than five per cent post weak earnings. On Tuesday, markets extended its weak run for the sixth straight session with Sensex falling by over 1,200 points in the opening trade on Tuesday. Asian shares fell sharply after Wall Street suffered its biggest decline since 2011, which came over investors' faith in factors underpinning a bull run in markets began to crumble. 64.06 on Monday.Earlier in the day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1,175.21 points to 24,345.75.
