LIPIS: Two close friends died when their motorcycle collided head on with another bike at Km4, Jalan Sungai Koyan-Kuala Medang here last night. Mohamad Nasrul Mohamad Abdah, 25, and Wahadi Wahabat Rani, 23, died on the spot due to grievous head injuries in the 10pm accident. "The rider and passenger of the Yamaha 125Z is understood to have tried to overtake two other motorcycles in front of them, before losing control (of the Yamaha 125Z) and ending up on the opposite lane which led to the accident. "Both of them (rider and passenger of the Yamaha 125Z) suffered serious injuries due to the accident while two other motorcycle riders were also injured when they failed to avoid the two other bikes" he said today. He said the two deceased would be subjected to post-mortem at Kuala Lipis Hospital today, before being handed over to their respective families.
