It's been a long time coming, but Stoke youth finally have a place to call their own. Stoke Youth Park has been in the sights of Nelson City Council for over a decade and it’s finally come to fruition with the help of Whanake Youth and the council. Whanake Youth Service manager Lee-ann O’Brien said youth in the community were consulted on what they were looking for in a hub, and Stoke Youth Park reflected the voices of those young adults.
