The crime police have recovered 442 grams of gold, laptops, cellphones and electronic gadgets from the boy. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (CCS) Govinda Rao, the juvenile, who has recently written the SSC exams, was in the habit of committing offences for easy money to afford to a lavish lifestyle. The 16-year-old juvenile, who allegedly committed 11 house break-ins, was caught while disposing of the stolen goods, along with his three aides. Modus operandi“The juvenile would leave home on the pretext of playing in the ground and conduct recce on the locked houses. He lost his father a few years ago and his mother is an employee at a private firm while his brother studies in a college and works part-time, said Mr. Govinda Rao.
