Until recently, she was not settled anywhere long enough to commit to a tennis orbadminton club. However, she recently played winter tennis. 2011:was head girl and in the Otago under-19 netball team. She hoped to play provincial netball and to study commerce or physiotherapy.2021: A physiotherapist, Meikle is also the business manager at the Motus Eastcare clinic in Christchurch. She plays for St Nicholas A in the city’s premier netball competition.
