Claire Avins Solomon and Max Abraham Nisen are to be married July 29 at Congregation Beth Am Israel in Penn Valley, Pa. Ms. Solomon, 29, is a volunteer coordinator at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She is a daughter of Carol J. Avins and Rayman L. Solomon of Merion Station, Pa. Mr. Nisen, also 29, is a columnist covering the health care business for Bloomberg in New York. He graduated from Pomona College.
