City virus tally set to soar yet againCoronavirus infections in the city have soared by more than 100, early reports indicate, following the 64 patients confirmed on Saturday by health officials. The tally of infected people on Saturday surpassed that of the SARS epidemic in 2013. In the 24 hours to 4:00pm Friday, the Center for Health Protection reported 23 males and 41 females aged between 16 and 86 years are infected with the coronavirus. Due to virus infections, the Ngau Chi Wan Market and Pei Ho Street Market, were closed for cleaning and disinfection on Friday. The Ngau Tau Kok Market, Sheung Fung Street Market, Yau Ma Tei Market, and Fa Yuen Street Market are shut today for cleaning.
