The public outcry erupted at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, the polling station for district 7 of Pathum Thani. At least 300 citizens, mainly students, protested against the perceived lack of transparency and the "suspicious actions" of election officials. Chulalongkorn University professor Jessada Denduangboripant posted the following comment on his Facebook page:“In Pathum Thani district 7 the votes were recounted and the orange party [the People’s Party] won overwhelmingly.
