Two teachers and a wife of one of the educators have been confirmed dead following the attack by suspected members of the al-Shabaab terror group at the Qarsa Primary School in Wajir. It is believed the victims, named as teachers, Kevin Shari and Seth Oluoch Odada, and the latter’s wife, Caroline, were killed for the Christian beliefs. Mohamed Sheikh, the Wajir Administration Police commandant, said that the group suspected to be members of the Islamist al-Shabaab terror group, also set an improvised explosive device on the route to the school. According to Open Doors, the religious rights group, dozens of Christians were killed by the militant Islamic group last year, some of whom were beheaded.
