PUTRAJAYA: A Christian group joined the “Solidarity to Save Jerusalem” rally to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people, after US President Donald Trump moved to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Hong said that Trump's decision also hurts Christian and Arabic churches in Palestine, and not just the Muslims. The "Solidarity to Save Jerusalem" rally is being held following the US decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is expected to announce a resolution on the Jerusalem issue later Friday. This came despite President Trump threatening to cut off financial aid to countries that voted in favour of the resolution.
