(File photo)The boss of Christchurch’s publicly-funded economic development and tourism agency, ChristchurchNZ, has stepped down. Joanna Norris, who had been the chief executive of the agency since it was formed in 2017, is joining media company Stuff as chief content officer, a newly created role that will report to the company’s chief executive, Sinead Boucher. The agency is largely funded by the Christchurch City Council and Christchurch mayor Lianne Dalziel said it had become a pivotal organisation under the leadership of Norris. Norris said she was ready for her next challenge as ChristchurchNZ was now well established.
