A Christchurch supermarket has been closed after it was visited by a person who later tested positive for Covid-19 in South Korea. The Countdown supermarket at Spitfire Square, near Christchurch Airport, is closed on Tuesday to undergo a “deeper clean” than usual. None had been told why the Countdown was closed, and one owner said they were shocked to hear it could be related to Covid-19.
