Christchurch builder David Cocks died a few days ago in France. Kiwi David Cocks has died during a ski trip in the French Alps, leaving a wife and two young sons behind. Cocks went on a solo cross-country ski expedition in Savoie, France, at the end of March. On March 30, French Alps search and rescue service Secours Montagne Crs Savoie posted a callout on its Facebook page after Cocks went missing. Family friend Peter Worley described Cocks as a family man who "adored his two boys and his wife".
