The state of Assam is ravaged in floods as river Brahmaputra is flowing above the danger mark. Brahmaputra forms the life line of Assam as it divides the State into upper and lower Assam. However, this time the picture is different. China has been making alterations and modifications on various fronts in this territory just across the border since the past few years. The dragon very well knows, it can control the water supply into india via Brahmaputra and has been doing so over the years but in a very discreet way.
