China Entertainment Billionaire Wang Jianlin Belts Out Tunes At Annual Party

Wang Jianlin, China’s richest man and a growing force in the global entertainment industry, won applause from guests and staff at Wanda Group’s annual gala on Sunday by belting out a few songs himself. Wang, whose company last year added Dick Clark Productions to its global assets, sang a Chinese rock classic by Cui Jian, “Nothing to My Name,” and another Chinese-language favorite, “Friends,” according to a Wanda press release. Afterward, Wang “further showcased singing skills to match his business acumen by performing a traditional Huangmei opera and a love lyric, ‘Waiting,’” Wanda said. “This is not the first time that Wang has brought his personal tastes to the public,” said Wanda, noting that Wang demonstrated his rock skills for the first time last year. Here, from Wanda’s press release, are links to Wang’s latest videos:“Ready for the Emotional Side of China’s Richest Man?”https://youtu.be/wbh0AiKqSPg“Wanda ‘Chairman performs traditional Chinese opera”
