A woman has thanked police after two PCSOs chased down a barefooted man through the snow to return a stolen bike. On Tuesday at about 9.45am, a ‘suspicious’ man was reported in a garden at Murrin Road, off Alwyn Road. After a short search, a man of large build, aged about 30 and wearing no footwear, fled from officers on a bike into Oaken Grove Park. They were unable to catch the offender, but they recovered a stolen bike. If you have any information, Thames Valley Police ask that you contact PCSO Miller via 101 and leave your contact details.
