Special Public Prosecutor of Habiganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Abul Hasem Mollah Masum told the Dhaka Tribune that: ‘‘District and Sessions’ Judge Mahroja Parveen on Thursday noon has sent the case to the children court from the tribunal”. Besides, the new court fixed September 7 for its hearing. In the incident, four of the accused – namely Jewel Mia, his younger brother Rubel Mia, Shahid and Arzu – gave confessional statements. A total of five accused are now behind bars and other accused, Ustar Mia, Boshir Mia and Belal Mia are on the run. On April 5, police submitted the charge sheet to the court.
