Police at Harcourt Park, in Upper Hutt, where a child died after an accident at a playground on Thursday. A child has died as a result of injuries sustained in an accident at an Upper Hutt playground. Emergency services were called this morning after a child was taken to an Upper Hutt medical centre with critical injuries at 11.40am. Wellington Free Ambulance said it was called to a private medical centre, Queen Street Medical in Upper Hutt, at 11.38am, for one patient.
