Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha’s wife Sushma Sinha has also left Dhaka for Australia. The chief justice’s Personal Secretary Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune. Sinha left for Australia on October 13, issuing a statement to the press that he was not ill and had been embarrassed by the prime minister’s criticism against him.
