Demanding that committees with year-long mandates be formed, former Chhatra Dal leaders gathered near the BNP central office and began their demonstration around 11am on Tuesday. However, the protestors allegedly obstructed these four BNP leaders from entering the office and got into an argument with them. After talking to the protesters, Fazlul Huque Milon told the journalists that the decision about the committee was taken by the party. The release stated that to be included in the Chhatra Dal committee, candidates must be a student of an educational institution of Bangladesh, and must have passed their SSC or equivalent exams after the year 2000.
