ABM Muhit Hossain of NGO Justice and Care said the Bangladeshi girls were trafficked into India's Mumbai city, three years ago, with the promise of good employment. Later, they were sent to jail by a court. After serving their terms in prison, a shelter in Mumbai, called Navjeevan, kept them in their care before they returned home, he added.
