A chess teacher faces three sex charges after a 10-year-old girl said she was sexually assaulted at a math and chess academy in Toronto’s east end, Toronto Police said. The girl — a student at Philip Math Chess Academy — told police that an academy teacher sexually assaulted her during class house last Saturday. Erwin Casareno, 55, of Toronto, is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and sexual touching. Casanero has taught at the Philip Math Chess Academy for the past five years, police say. Police are concerned that there may be more victims.
