True film snobs live their lives with their eyes as upturned as their noses, constantly on the lookout for the mention of a film so they can quickly interject themselves into conversations with their unsolicited thoughts. They’ll claim they like healthy debate, but they never enter a conversation in their area of “expertise” without a steady tone of know-it-allness. It’s only according to the film snob that obscurity equals quality. And while a film snob would move heaven and earth to attend such a film, they will simultaneously mock fanboys and girls who line up at red carpets to spot their favourite celebrities, because that’s so completely different. Just like the clinically insane, they’re unaware of their film snobbery.
