Post-Brexit customs requirements in Ireland mean horses will face physical inspections at Dublin Port and require health certificates and 24-hour pre-notification on the way back. “Be ready – the horses will have to stop in the port for a check,” said Hazel Sheridan, head of import controls at the Department of Agriculture.
