The hospital car park is managed by Saba, which runs 900 car parks across the UK including Gloucestershire Royal Hospital as well as Cheltenham. GloucestershireLive understands night workers at Cheltenham General are required to 'buy' a free ticket via the Saba parking app, as well as display a parking permit. Saba's website provides guidance for NHS staff purchasing parking permits for staff car parks, but does not mention buying a 'free' night shift ticket through the app. "I was actually given a ticket once for not displaying a staff permit in the staff car park.
