Guehi was Newcastle United’s No.1 target last summer but the Magpies failed to sign him, with Palace refusing to lower their £70m price tag. The 24-year-old, capped 22 times by England, was recently praised by interim Three Lions boss Lee Carsley for being ‘fast and aggressive’. Guehi has now attracted interest from his former club Chelsea, who are hoping the centre-back will be available for a cut-price fee next summer. Physically, he’s fast and he’s aggressive.
